We decided tonight to move the portable garage…it was an decesion that we made earlier tonight..’do you think the garage will be OK with the high winds and the ground being so soft?’
The garage flipped over from all the wind and ripped the augers holding them into the ground. Everything was fine with no snapped poles or rips..took 45 minutes to get the outer shell off in the high winds..we almost blew away when folding up the shell when we both had hold of the corners. I think for the next location I need less wind prone areas. Not the best way to spend 10:30-11:30 on a work night..then to give us the old triple whammy we go back inside and the batteries had reached the limit on the inverter and had shut off..went outside to turn on the generator for a quick hour charge..no gas in the generator so we had to fill it up. Great things happen in 3’s! It could have been worse..if we had not have been home the garage would have been destroyed..it was flopping around like a fish out of water while I was getting the cover off!
