Easy Wind Assisted Work Choices

03 Nov

..the wind really has it out for my portable garage. In the spring we had it blow over so we relocated it to an area with less wind within a stand of trees. Heard a large snap followed by the sound of structural distress as I was starting supper..I am not sure what this garage was in a previous life but it must have wronged someone important.

So, everything gets moved into the shed possibility for winter bunkie work now…one work problem to move everthing back into the shed..and I guess that means I need to clean up my contruction mayhem in there. Blurg.

i hope you don’t mind the acronym for your name.

you caught the short end or the stick on that one! i got lucky. here at framboise manor, the goofball who built the place put up a fence that made no sense that blew down last winter. i sawed the last bit off the house as it was creaking like mad during the high winds. this spring i gathered up the pieces and build a makeshift shed out of it against the house. ugly as sin, but does the job. the floor is pallets – great minds think alike!

sorry for your trouble there, i can really feel the pain of not having places to put things combined with wind issues!!

you will have to do some sort of ceremony to put the distressed spirit at rest before you rebuild.

looks like you are a fellow canuk, the margaree comment gave that away – if you want to tell me more offline:

kymber added you to our blogroll. let me know if that’s okay. we didn’t realize you weren’t.

    cheers buddy!

(btw – egb is an excellent trout lure ;-)

no problem..egb is fine..or beav or d-..I am easy. Yes, add away and thanks!

Yeah..wind issues does having to empty the thing again..we have moved things in and out of it from and to the shed 3 times in 1 year..this gear is piling up the mileage@! Pallets are great..especially huge bonfires!! hehe

I already did a ceremony of sorts..when I saw it I prayed to all the anger gods with all the foul words I could think of. hehe, welcome!
