Perennial Grasses

13 May

image

..last years selections of perennial grasses was meager to say the least…I did find a couple last year but they were fullgrown and nearly $25 each..to steep. This year grasses seem to be getting back to normal. I know last year I lost a bunch of the grasses we had due to an early thaw followed by another month of winter cold and snow.

..we went with 6 tall grasses ( pampas ( 10ft)) and a variety of smaller grasses to fill in some of the boxes we had and recently created. The tall grasses will add some privacy in areas too..and jazz things up. We also moved some of last years grasses which were in an area that was too sunny..so hopefully this year they thrive.

…and now we play the waiting game! Although I can wait I can’t wait!
