Step 1: spend and hour removing snow from the roof.

Step 2: spend an hour removing and repositioning clutter in shed (after some initial bracing)

Step 3: Dig for an hour to find 2×4’s to support the roof

Step 4: Go for an hour snowshoe festivus.

Step 5 (repeat until done) : Cut a length of wood and brace one end of the ‘support beam’. cut another piece of board and place between the other portion of torn beam and a 4 ton jack.  Elevate to desired height and then cut (or use a combination of risers and previously cut boards) a new support board.  Position under the beam and lower the Jack. Switch sides and repeat.

Step 6: cover everything with vapor barrier and wait for warmer weather to remove the 8 inches of ice in parts of the roof.

Step 7: Plan temporary roof cover and summer roof and shed overhaul.

Yes, back at it for the most part. Still not happy with my tech solutions for blogging but making a go! No big deal on the carnage..after a couple of days everything seems normal, even trekking through the woods on snowshoes to get to the truck! A meet up sounds great too! More posts and comments soon!
