Thank goodness!  Another 10cm..its been a week without snow, I was beginning to worry!

We got to the wood pile before we got the new stuff. Nothing really beats transporting wood via a sled while  on snowshoes..ahhh, the luxury of it all!

And next years wood bank (from a last fall stacking session ).. Is there anything railway ties can’t do? (I wish they could somehow be configured to instantaneously melt all snow in a km radius)

What do you do when it snows like that? Can you even leave the house?

I am down to doing the bare minimum too.Shoveling is really overrated. Ties really are great.. Like Lego for adults!

.. What do we do? Usually shovel. These days, Amarula.

We can always get outside and if things are bad we do a preemptive shovel. This has been the worst winter of my life (snow wise) and it didn’t start until Feb. We are in ‘grin and bear it’ mode.. No biggie, after a day or two of any routine we can adjust, it’s the unplanned aspects we hate
