Making Friends?

Zoomed in so the quality is not so hot..A* is attempting to sit on Burt T to keep him warm..her broody instincts are strong! Still not eating from out hands..

 

Burt T the Grouse

A nightly visitor coming around for a dried cranberry treat.  Still has not eating from our hands but getting closer.  Having had chickens in the past the dogs don’t seem to care about it. The Burt T (the grouse of course) is somewhat wary of the dogs but never strays far.

 

Walkway to Wide Walkway Conversion

Shoveling in the winter is the worst.. Especially when you have a plow to push the snow!  So A* and I turned the walkway into an easy to plow wide walkway.. Or driveway?

A* is overheating.. Near the end of blackfly season so we need to bundle up but at least we got the new are cleared and ready for winter plowing..first pass anyway.. Needs more gravel.

.. And a new flower/shrub bed created too..

Makes unloading the truck much easier too!
